First off, it’s time to go see “You Should Meet My Son!” at FilmBar. A totally cute and funny gay film that didn’t show at our local LGBT film festival. A southern conservative mother indirectly discovers that her only son is gay. Determined that he won’t live a life alone, she sets out to find him a husband. We’ve brought it to FilmBar with the help of our friends at ‘N Touch News Magazine and all of the ticket sales go to benefit Aunt Rita’s Foundation and AIDS Walk Phoenix! “You Should Meet My Son” Screenings at FilmBar to benefit AIDS Walk Phoenix

QTalk Arizona and ‘N Touch News Magazine are bringing two screenings of “You Should Meet My Son”, a film by Keith Hartman, to FilmBar Phoenix on September 23rd and 25th. All ticket proceeds will benefit AIDS Walk Phoenix, an Aunt Rita’s Foundation event.

The film is a fish-out-of-water comedy about a conservative southern mother who indirectly learns her son is gay and then goes on a quest to find him the perfect husband. It’s a hilarious, campy and cute film that tells an often-true story of how coming-out experiences can be with conservative parents.
